Why We Collect Your Information
CyberUp collects your information to successfully complete the registration process. CyberUp is a 501(c)(3) organization, meaning the information we collect as an organization can be used to grant writing purposes and reach our internal goals around diversity.
Who We Disclose Your Information To
CyberUp will ONLY pass on basic information about you as an individual to other CyberUp staff OR third parties to enable us to perform services requested by you or with your prior consent. Any personal information provided is confidential and protected and may be disclosed only under specific circumstances and with prior written authorizations.
By giving consent, you are allowing CyberUp to share your contact details with third parties to provide a service or for grant tracking purposes.
Programmatic E-Mail
CyberUp will send program-related materials to the people we serve. Any individual may opt out of these e-mails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link located within each e-mail OR by contacting the CyberUp Program Office. Opting out of e-mails will ensure you will no longer receive critical program information. CyberUp receives statistics showing how many people have opened an e-mail and what links they have clicked on. This helps us understand which individuals have accessed the program-related emails.
Security
Keeping your information safe and secure is important to us. Certain sections of our website may encrypt data using cryptographic and hashing standards. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure. We cannot ensure the security of any information that is sent to us, and you do so at your own risk. We use reasonable precautions to keep the personal information you disclose and only release this information to third parties we believe share our commitment to privacy. However, we are NOT responsible for any breach of security or the actions of third parties.

How We Use Cookies

CyberUp does not knowingly collect personal information from Children under the age of 13. If a Child provides personal information to CyberUp, we will delete that information as soon as we become aware of it.

CyberUp may use personal demographic information collected from Children for the following purposes:

Disclosure of personal information
CyberUp will not disclose personal information collected from Children to third parties without the consent of a parent or guardian. We may disclose personal information to third parties to the extent necessary to provide the Children with the services they have requested or to protect the Children and our website from fraud and abuse.
Parental consent
If you are the parent or guardian of a Child who has provided personal information to CyberUp, you may request that we delete that information. To do so, please contact us at info@wecyberup.org.
Changes to this policy
CyberUp may change this Policy from time to time. We will post any changes to this Policy on our website.

What to do if you believe you have experienced discrimination
If you believe you have been subjected to discrimination under a WIOA Title I-financially assisted program or activity, you may file a complaint within 180 days from the date of the alleged violation with either: the recipient’s Equal Opportunity Officer (or the person whom the recipient has designated for this purpose).
