Midwest Cyber Center – Expanding Opportunity While Securing Our Country
Did you know apprenticeships are a good way to help fill entry level cybersecurity roles? Meet Meagan Turner. She’s one of Midwest Cyber Center’s candidates ready to start their cybersecurity apprenticeship journey.
Meagan Turner realized that due to the lack of trained cyber security talent in our region and the risks that are at stake, it is extremely important to make that change happen. Ever since warfare has entered cyberspace, the fifth domain, she knows how critical it is for her to obtain a job in the cyber world. Hearing about Midwest Cyber Center and the work they have done is incredible and she looks forward to becoming an apprentice. Living in St. Charles, she spends a lot of her time with family and friends. Watching her favorite sports team, the St. Louis Blues, is one of her favorite things to do. Meagan also enjoys playing sports, hiking, and reading books, particularly by her favorite author, Stephan King.
The Midwest Cyber Center (MC2) exists to connect ambitious people like Meagan with life-changing opportunities to learn cybersecurity, enabling them to earn well-paying jobs that last.
